Men Have Good Experiences With These Condoms, Label Them the Best

Condom selection isn’t as simple as you’d think.

Like with anything else you purchase, you want the most bang for your buck. To get that, you need to decipher which brand has the best product that will suit your needs. Even if they’re the same material, does one fit you much better than another? Is its texture more pleasurable? Does it not reek of latex the second its out of its packaging?

All of this leaves us wondering what exactly is the best condom out there. And to answer that, well, we asked the ones who use ‘em most: you guys.

RELATED: How to Choose the Best Condoms

AskMen polled over 1,000 men for its Readers’ Choice Condom Survey in the hopes of finding the top rubber of all rubbers. A close race, for sure, but in the end, Lifestyles took the number one spot because of its fit, material and sensitivity.

“All good experiences,” commented one reader. “Pleasurable. No breakage. Excellent fit, always.” Another said he prefers Lifestyles as “it rolled on easy and let me get right to business,” while a third has “never had any issues” when wearing one.

Trojan’s loyal following helped it land at number two with its fit, material, packaging and lubrication being some of the reasons why wearers love ‘em so much. As for number three? Give it up for Durex, a favorite because of its fit, material and sensitivity.

We also found out the type of condoms men opt for, and as suspected, that “nothing at all” feel reigns supreme. 35 percent of those surveyed chose ultra thin, 25 percent selected your basic latex and 15 percent went with textured/ribbed.

Rounding out the list was non-latex at 8 percent (tied with gents who don’t go for anything specific when it comes to condom type), lambskin at 5 percent and 4 percent going to other options not listed.

The last bit of information we pulled involved where the condoms were purchased from. Drugstores crushed it with 41 percent, followed by supermarkets (23 percent), online retailers (21 percent), convenience stores (6 percent), other options not listed (5 percent), and a sex shop or free clinic (2 percent).

So, what are you waiting for? Go stock up.
