Jason Momoa Body Shamed On Vacation
When you think about the list of potential celebrities who might be dressed down over a beer belly or a so-called “dad bod,” Jason Momoa likely doesn't come to mind.

However, he's precisely the man who has been targeted by social media haters of late, being shamed for some candid (and shirtless) vacation photos. Sure, Momoa may not look exactly as chiseled as he did in “Aquaman” – or as ripped as he did while commanding the Dothraki hordes as “Game of Thrones” character Khal Drogo – but he still appears to be in tip-top shape.
Not so, say his detractors, dogpiling him in the comments section of an Us Weekly Instagram post.

Comments such as “Omg, what happened to the abs? [crying emoji],” from user saysven and “That dad bod comin out [laughing emoji],” from kristinfollis quickly took over the comments.
While more recent comments on the Instagram post in question have been more favorable toward the strikingly handsome actor, he's finding some deep support on rival social media platform Twitter as well. His fans took to Twitter in droves to offer the big man some backup.
“In other news jason momoa looks great still (with or w/o a dad bod he's still good looking you a**holes) and david harbour is thicc as a bowl of oatmeal and therefore both body sizes are valid,” @rabbitnheadlite wrote, comparing Momoa to one of the stars of “Stranger Things 3.”
“How is this a dad bod? Dad’s wish they have this bod. Put some damn respect on Jason Momoa’s name,” @dfretter_ demanded in terse and unambiguous terms.
“Came across this quick article and well... It's Jason so I checked it out. Made me sad. He is obviously gorgeous but he has a huge heart. #bodyshaming #Couldhappentoanyone,” @toyforsir said, pointing out that it has become a trend as of late to body shame celebrities for looking less than perfect.
The reality is that Jason Momoa appears very athletic, well above-average in terms of his off-screen physique. No matter what the haters have to say, he remains a world-renowned heartthrob to his admirers of all ages, races, and persuasions. Even the tabloid writers and pollsters at The Daily Mail had to concede that Jason Momoa was a beautiful hunk, awarding him the title of “Most Handsome Man” for 2018. Fellow actor Idris Elba came in at a strong No. 3, and soccer player David Beckham ranked a respectable No. 13.
Given that the man has faced down hordes of barbaric enemies, tidal waves as tall as a skyscraper, and enemies of immeasurable power, we're sure that he'll manage to weather a few bitter comments left by anonymous critics on social media.
