Jennifer Lopez Teaches Us How to Work a Pole in 'Hustlers' Trailer

"Front hook. Ankle hook. Knee hook.”

No, that's not an instructor talking at a self defense class. It's actually Jennifer Lopez, teaching co-star Constance Wu the ins and outs of working a stripper pole in the new movie, "Hustlers."

“From here you can do the carousel,” she goes on, swinging around with such grace that you'd only be so lucky to have at the former Fly Girl's age.

"Hustlers," written and directed by Lorene Scafaria, is based on "The Hustlers at Scores," a 2015 NYMag article written by Jessica Pressler. The tagline? "A modern Robin Hood story [of] a few strippers who stole from (mostly) rich, (usually) disgusting, (in their minds) pathetic men and gave to, well, themselves."

Naturally, the trailer shows the women (Keke Palmer, Lili Reinhart, Lizzo, Trace Lysette, Cardi B, and Julia Stiles round out the all-star cast) bathing in bling and bubbly before things take a turn for the worse. 

Those familiar with the story already may know how it ends, but that doesn't mean "Hustlers" isn't worth a trip to the theater. Jennifer Lopez on. A. Stripper. Pole — need we say more?

The film is set to premiere on September 13.
