Fast and the Furious Star Paul Walker's Car Collection to Hit Auction Block

Paul Walker left behind an incredible silver screen legacy, including his role in “Fast and the Furious,” that still sees his fans from around the world honor his memory in many ways. Now, the late actor's cool car collection is headed to the auction block.

Those looking to pick up one of Walker's prized whips will have to find their way to Barrett-Jackson's 49th Annual Scottsdale Auction in 2020, to be held early next year from January 11 to January 19.

Twenty-one of Walker's vehicles will be sold to the highest bidder, with the small fleet of cars being dominated by a number of BMW M3s — with one-third of the 21 vehicles being beamers of this model (5 from 1995, one from 1988, and one from 1991). The collection encompasses “five decades of automotive excellence and truly reflected his personal taste,” according to Steve Davis president of Barrett-Jackson in a press release. There's little doubt that most of the horsepower hitting the auction block will be commanding top dollar.

Aside from the BMW M3s, another highly anticipated ride comes in the form of Walker's 2009 Nissan 370Z. This particular sports car appeared in “Fast Five” and boasts an extremely low odometer reading of 2,623 miles. A classic Japanese import in the form of another Nissan — a 1989 R32 Skyline — should also drive up some bidding wars, while a 2013 Ford Mustang Boss 302S will rev up the muscle car fanatics in the crowd.

According to CEO and chair of Barrett-Jackson, Craig Jackson, “We’re deeply honored to offer the amazing Paul Walker Collection at our 2020 Scottdale Auction. Paul’s impact was immense through both his influence as an actor in the “Fast and the Furious” movies and his philanthropic drive as the founder of Reach Out Worldwide,” he said. “We’re proud to help continue Paul Walker’s legacy by offering his esteemed collection to their new caretakers at our flagship Scottsdale event.”

Besides being a motorsports enthusiast, Walker was a well-known philanthropist. Having built Reach Out Worldwide from the ground up in 2010, the “Fast and the Furious” star promoted disaster relief efforts and support for first responders called in to help in times of need. This love of charity and volunteerism seems to have been carried on through the family line, with his daughter, Meadow, having created the Paul Walker Foundation in her deceased dad's name.

With a simple but effective mission statement of “Do good,” the Paul Walker Foundation seeks to cement the legacy of a man taken from the world too soon. It's a near-certainty that many auction-lovers and fans of Paul Walker attending the Scottsdale Auction will have him in mind.
