Win a Steve McQueen Triumph Street Scrambler Motorcycle

Steve McQueen was one of the silver-screen's most iconic badasses, but one thing you might have forgotten about the late actor is that he was also quite the racer in real life, as well. Now three lucky people can each win their own custom Triumph Street Scrambler motorcycles, designed specifically to honor McQueen’s racing legacy.

According to a press release, Macy's has teamed up with Triumph and Barbour International to provide modern motorcycle enthusiasts with the chance to win a piece of racing memorabilia that will definitely get some motors revving. Macy’s is host of the sweepstakes which includes a trio of customized Triumph Street Scramblers stand in for McQueen's famous TR6 — complete with Barbour detailing to honor McQueen's iconic wax cotton suit.

With Atlanta's Jesse Spade Designs heading up the project, each Triumph bike on the contest block will include the Barbour International Logo. Beyond that, crisp lines comprised of three signature Triumph metallic paints will also decorate the tank, designed in Aluminum Silver and Korosi Red with a bold Crystal White pinstripe.

The custom shop also managed to include Barbour International into other aspects of these three Street Scramblers as well. Black wax cotton upholstery and red stitching not only make these rides look super smooth, but they also call the iconography of the style label to mind at the same time. Number boards bearing McQueen's ISDT rally number of 278 add a little bit of history to the Triumph rides.

The star of The Great Escape and The Towering Inferno would likely appreciate these Triumph customs inspired by his life and career. Still a major celebrity nearly 40 years after his passing, Steve McQueen's rebellious persona continues to inspire recreational bikers from coast to coast.

Those who want a closer look at these custom pieces of Americana can see the bikes at three Macy's locations: Union Square in San Francisco, State Street in Chicago, and Herald Square in New York City. If you want to enter the contest for your chance at one of the custom bikes, the closing date for contest entries is November 2.
