One of the silver linings in being homebound is having time to come up with creative ways to keep things moving in a light, fun and fresh way. Thank goodness the weather has been nice and mild so we can enjoy spending time outdoors in our yard. On really warm days we (and I mean all three of us) enjoy playing in Clementine’s blow-up pool. Looking at play through the eyes of a child opens up so many new ideas. Creating a family day centered around our inflatable pool, with a portable barbecue for cooking veggie burgers, beach chairs, a cooler for drinks and homemade ice cream, games, music, and an umbrella or sun tent for afternoon shade. Having everything portable makes it’s easy to store away and bring back out again on another beautiful sunny day. Below are some items to help you plan your own backyard fun day in the sun!
