The wellness team at Refinery29 gets to try a ton of really great stuff. So we decided to start highlighting some our favorite products each month — the things that were so useful or so cool, we just couldn't stop using them.

You may notice a theme this month: As the temperatures outside continue to sink and COVID-19 cases continue to rise, we've been leaning on items that promise to keep us healthy and calm. Without further ado, here are the wellness products that have been making our lives better all November long.

At Refinery29, we’re here to help you navigate this overwhelming world of stuff. All of our market picks are independently selected and curated by the editorial team. If you buy something we link to on our site, Refinery29 may earn commission.

Euka Wellness Bento

"This little bento box comes with a saline nasal spray, two eucalyptus-scented shower bombs, immune-boosting gummies, antiseptic spray and wipes, and an essential oil roller. Taken together, the products are meant to help you stay well all season. I can't say for sure how effective they are, but I loved using them. My favorite items are the shower bombs, which made my bath time that much more spa-like, and the saline spray, which I tend to use all winter long to stave off dryness, since I'm prone to nosebleeds." — Mirel Zaman, senior wellness editor

Ponaris Nasal Emollient

"I said I'm prone to nosebleeds — I'm really prone to them, and once I have one, I keep getting them for weeks. (My ENT said I have an abnormally large vein in my nose that tends to get dried out. So there's that.) Anyway, prevention is key. I learned about Ponaris seven-ish years ago, and I'm still obsessed. It's a mix of oils, including pine, eucalyptus, and peppermint. I just use the dropper to squirt a little into each nostril right before bed, and it keeps my nasal passages moisturized all night long. Plus, I'm hooked on the fresh, methol-y scent. If I use this and a humidifier at least a few nights a week, I won't get a bloody nose all winter long." — MZ

Athleta Rainier Tights

"I stick to running shorts until the last possible minute. Once it's too cold to run outdoors sans pants, though, I switch right to these Athleta tights. They have a brushed interior that feels kinda fleece-y and cozy (without being as heavy and bulky as actual fleece). The leggings also have two zippered pockets for stashing things like a key or an ID, and a back pocket that will fit a phone. They're just the right weight to keep me warm but not overheated, they have a not-too-tall high-rise waist, and they wick away sweat so I never get that damp, chilly feeling after sweating a ton during an outdoor run." — MZ

Boy Smells June's candle

"Like many of us, my candle consumption has at least tripled during the pandemic. I had no brand loyalty at all, and tended to just sort by "average customer review" on Amazon to find my next option. Boy Smells' June's candle changed that. At first whiff, I thought I'd made a terrible mistake — but something about the sweet, sharp scent grew on me and now I consider it my home's signature scent. I burn it often, and I've taken to lighting it and sticking it on my nightstand for an hour or so before my bedtime, so when I turn in I get to enjoy the cozy fragrance. I swear it helps me fall asleep faster." — MZ

Saje Yoga Freshening Mat Spray

"Since I started doing frequent home workouts amid the pandemic, my yoga mat has seen better days. With increased use, I noticed a few months ago it was starting to smell rank. But this spray came to the rescue. I spritz it on after cleaning my mat, let it stand for a few minutes, then wipe it off. It leaves behind the sweet scents of orange and patchouli — always a pleasant surprise the next time I roll it out. - Molly Longman, health writer

Yogi Tea, Kava Stress Relief

"I'm self-aware enough to know that I'm a highly strung little human. As such, I'm always looking for things that'll help me unwind and destress. This tea is just the ticket. It's a delightful and surprising mix of kava and cinnamon, and is caffeine-free — a perfect drink before bed." — ML

BURST Oral Care Water Flosser

"I've recently learned that most floss is made out of nylon, meaning that it's non-biodegradable, so I pledged to switch to a water flosser to help do my part in creating less waste. I'm obsessed with this rose gold one from BURST. It's a product that actually makes flossing... fun? Who would've thought!" — Elizabeth Gulino, health & wellness writer

Knickey Low-Rise Thong

"When I tell you I absolutely love wearing underwear, I really mean it. I've never been one to enjoy going commando, so having really comfortable pairs in my intimates drawer is a must. I recently discovered Knickey and can say that they check every box I have for my underwear needs — including using organic cotton and offering a recycling program so your old undies don't end up in a landfill." — EG

Beam Focus Capsules

"I'm a bit of a CBD denier, but I've been having a good time trying out these focus capsules from Beam. While I can't say whether it's the product or the placebo effect at work, I have felt a bit more focused during the day as I work." — EG
