The Lizzie McGuire x Colourpop Collab Is My 2000s Makeup Fantasy Come To Life

As a seasoned reviewer of Colourpop collabs and a diehard Lizzie McGuire stan, I was beyond stoked and ready when news broke of the duo's highly-anticipated collection — which, ICYMI, launched today (!). In honor of this joyfully nostalgic occasion, I tried every single glittery lip gloss tube to pastel eyeshadow palette that the what-dreams-are-made-of lineup has to offer.

The Disney Channel series was full of certified bops (like this underrated Play anthem that I still listen to weekly), cute boy cameos, and #relatable struggles. I love the show so much that it is singlehandedly the reason why I signed up for Disney+ (and we all know how that turned out).

From Lizzie's signature crimped hair in season one to popular girls Kate Sanders (and her lackey, Claire Miller)'s mirror-like lips, the show was full of iconic early '00s makeup moments. Ahead, read up on my thoughts of the full collection, and stay till the end to see my full face beat with the products!

What Dreams Are Made Of Palette

The 12-pan palette is the star of the collection. Colourpop's eyeshadows are my favorite products from the brand, so I was super excited to play around with the colors. Right off the bat, I was drawn to the lime and lavender tones. However, there are also some gorgeous champagne and terracotta hues for more a neutral look. The matte shades are blendable, not chalky, and the shimmers are subtle yet scintillating. Plus, shade names like "Digital Bean," "Outfit Rememberer," and "Outie!" will certainly speak to true Lizzie fans.

Dear Diary So Juicy Duo

I'm a big fan of Colourpop's So Juicy lip glosses — they've got a plush, gel-like sort of texture and a minty flavor that has a slight tingling sensation on the lips. The Dear Diary duo features a clear and pink tube named "Lizzie" and "Miranda," respectively (!!) with a barely perceptible amount of glitter. Icing on the cake: Squeezy tube packaging, aka the perfect nod to '00s shiny-lip heyday.

Seriously Cool So Juicy Duo

The other gloss duo nods to two of the most influential men in Lizzie's teenage life, Gordo, and her longtime tousled-hair crush, Ethan Craft. Out of all four shades, the tangerine tube (named after the hottie himself) was my all-time favorite. Something tells me it'll be in heavy rotation as we move through spring and summer.

Bubblegum Pop Lippie Scrub

When it comes to lip care, I'm pretty basic — give me a tube of lip balm and I'm all set. However, this tiny pot of scrub actually exceeded my expectations. The flavor was just like Bubble Yum, and sure enough, a tiny amount was enough to leave my lips soft, smooth, and ready for a smooch at the Trevi Fountain.

Sing to Me Paolo Glitterally Obsessed

More iconic shade names! This clear gel is packed with flecks of rainbow glitter. It's basically a party in makeup form. A little goes a very long way, and I love using products like this right in the inner corner to add the tiniest hint of dazzle.

Get a Grip! Glitterally Obsessed

The second glitter gel shade looks like it could've been swiped straight from Kate Sanders' bedroom. Pink and rainbow glitter are suspended in a tinted fuchsia gel that imparts the slightest hint of rose on lids, cheeks, and wherever else you want to shine.

Dee-lish! Pressed Powder Blush

Both blushes in the collection are shimmery and pink, which normally wouldn't be my jam. However, this cool-toned rose was actually really fresh and pretty on my olive skin — I used a tiny amount to give my cheeks a just-pinched effect and loved it. Plus, the hint of shimmer is perfect for catching the light for a highlighter-like effect.

You Are Magnifico Pressed Powder Blush

The second blush shade is a darker shade of pink (I'd call it in between a Barbie and magenta shade), with finely milled pink shimmer. This one didn't suit me as well as the first one, but I could see it being beautiful with a tonal, rosy makeup moment.

And voilà! Here's my look with all of the products (plus clear brow gel, concealer, and mascara).

Eyes: I applied e (a matte lime) in the inner corner, and layered "Dear Diary" (a shimmery chartreuse) on top. On the outer corner, I applied "Hello Fabulous" (A shimmery lavender) and put "Digital Bean" (A matte violet) on top. To blend the two shades together, I applied "Outfit Rememberer" (a glittery icy lilac) in between the green and purple. To finish the eye party, I dotted my inner corners with the "Sing To Me Paolo" glitter gel.

Cheeks: Using a blush brush, I swept a small amount of the Dee-Lish! powder onto the apples of my cheeks and across my nose.

Lips: To prep, I used the Bubblegum Pop lip scrub and licked any residue away. (Hope that's okay!) On top, I used the So Juicy lip gloss in "Ethan Craft" for a hint of tangerine tint and shine.
