And there's no better time to make the switch than on National Coffee Day (October 1!).

When the founders of MochaBox, Floyd Sartin and Harlin Thomas, aren't, "...[providing] great tasting coffee to every customer, every day," they are representing for the Black community. The brand started back in 2015 with its name inspired by the port city of Mocha, Yemen. Amanda-Jane Thomas and Shanita Nicholas met and became friends while practicing law at the same law firm. In 2017, they joined forces to open Sip & Sonder, the first specialty coffee house in Inglewood, California. With a coffee roaster, creative studio, and multi-purpose event space on site, the spot became a destination for creatives, entrepreneurs, freelancers, and curators to grab a cup of coffee, connect, and create. This small-batch roasting company is located in Indianapolis, Indiana. The company's primary focus is to showcase coffee varietals from smaller, lesser-known farms. Efrem Fesaha was prompted to start a company with this mission because he noticed that Seattle's East African community, for whom unroasted green coffee is a staple, struggled to find quality and consistency in their coffee. Boon Boona sources high-quality coffee from farmers across many African nations. In doing this, it has developed lasting relationships with these farms and supports the sustainability of their crops.
