In this report, The Centre for New Economics Studies (CNES) observes the entrepreneurship landscape of these identified countries – India, Germany, Mexico, Russia and Saudi Arabia – to understand how the business landscape shapes the involvement of ‘women as leaders’ and in driving business levers across sectors.

Despite gender-based government reforms, global women entrepreneurs in the G20 Nations – Germany, Mexico, Russia and Saudi Arabia – face the following challenges:

• Access to capital
• Labor markets
• Cultural, regulatory and administrative barriers
• Gender pay gap
• Lack of funding opportunities

Global women entrepreneurs who receive support from programs (wegg’s included) report an improvement in their overall business performance and global competitiveness.
