Dating app Hinge and restaurant reservation service OpenTable have launched Date Night Matchmaker in hopes of taking all of the worry out of meeting that special someone for the very first time.

Assuming you and your could-be lover hit it off and agree to a date, the Date Night Matchmaker immediately kicks into high gear, asking you about your budget, your desired style of dining and the overall vibe or ambiance you'd like to immerse yourselves into.

Taking the anxiety out of the first date is important, and you should know that if it stresses you out thinking about it, you’re not alone, at least according to recent survey results. OpenTable and Hinge discovered that a majority (81 percent) of users were stressed out by the idea of organizing the fine details of their first date.

Include drinks but take note of a couple of things. First, food should be on the table as well, with two-thirds of respondents preferring a full-service restaurant experience over hitting the bar for drinks-only. Second, “drinks” no longer means alcoholic beverages alone — a nice cafe serving tea, espresso, coffee, salads, and sandwiches could actually be ideal for a first date.

Also, don't be cheap. Skimping on the quality of the meal in favor of saving your wallet isn't attractive, at least according to Hinge's most eligible bachelors and bachelorettes. And, if you’re not sure what type of food to dine on, Italian is the most popular choice, suggesting that it might be best to consider pizza, pasta and endless garlic bread. Everybody loves endless garlic bread.

Date Night Matchmaker might make your dating life a little easier so you can focus on the more important things right in front of you. After all, you only really get one chance at a first date.
