Laich, 36, shared a list of his 2020 goals to his Instagram story on Monday. Among travel plans and picking up old hobbies, he stated that he wants to "be more open to all things and present in my relationships" and "learn more about intimacy and my sexuality." He elaborated further on his plans for growth in a separate Instagram post.

"As the new year inches closer, I’m doing some reflecting, and some looking ahead," he began the photo's caption. "I’m always working on becoming a better man, a better version of me, and it always starts with a vision of who that person is. Knowing where I am, and where I want to go, are equally important."
Laich went on to say that he hopes his words can be of some support or inspiration to others who are on their own journey of self-improvement fueled by the hope and opportunity of a new decade.
However, this isn't the first time Laich has shared his views and understanding of intimacy with the world — or his strong support of others. Earlier this year, he shared a story about discovering what intimacy truly is and how it relates to sex on an episode of his podcast "How Men Think." He came to these newfound realizations after a discussion with his wife, "Dancing With the Stars" alum Julianne Hough who recently described herself as "not straight."
"I spent some time thinking about [intimacy], and I was confused about it,” Laich explained in an interview with AskMen. “I thought I had an idea of what it was, and then my wife really opened it up and challenged me on it ... I was blown away by what she said."
So, while most people’s New Year’s resolutions can be a bit shallow or empty, Laich is out here showing us all that it’s cool to explore emotions, have deep conversations, delve into a wide spectrum of sexuality and dig a little deeper to become a better man.
Now that’s a tagline we at AskMen can definitely get behind — and not just because it literally is our tagline.
