Cider Punch

Hunker down by the fire with a glass {or pitcher} of this ridiculously easy and exceptionally comforting cocktail.

  • 1 or 2 oz rum
  • Apple Cider
  • Cinnamon {and nutmeg if you have it on hand!}
  • Ice {or drink warmed}

Directions: Add the rum and cider into the glass. Top with spices {can get creative here and even throw in a few drops of bitters if you so please}.

Alcoholic Hot Chocolate

Coming at you with major. cozy. vibes. If you're feeling a little experimental, I urge you to try this heavenly hot chocolate. This recipe yields 2 services, so enjoy by the fire or under a blanket with good company.

  • 2 cups milk
  • 3 1/2 ounces best-quality dark chocolate, bittersweet or semisweet, as preferred
  • 1 cinnamon stick
  • 2 teaspoons honey
  • 1 teaspoon brown sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 2 tablespoons dark rum, or to taste

Pour the milk into a saucepan with broken up pieces of chocolate. Add cinnamon stick, honey, and sugar and heat gently until chocolate is melted. To this, add vanilla and a spoonful of rum while whisking. Add more rum or sugar depending on your preferences.

Classic Margarita

Let's go back to the basics. Here's my go-to margarita recipe - so simple and oh so good.

  • Ice
  • 2 oz blanco tequila {any brand works, so pick your fav!}
  • 1 oz Cointreau
  • 1 oz fresh lime juice

Directions: Combine all ingredients in a shaker and add ice. Shake and strain into a salt-rimmed {if you like} glass. Garnish with lime.
