It’s hard to believe that last year’s Golden Globes saw Hollywood’s biggest stars meeting in one place — maskless in couture — to glide down the red carpet, hug each other even, and then sit inches away from each other to eat and drink in one not-so-ventilated room. Good times. This year, like most of the award shows that followed the 2020 Golden Globes, things will look significantly different. Airing on Sunday night, the show, which will be hosted on two separate coasts by comedians Tina Fey and Amy Poehler, won’t obviously include a true red carpet. That said, we are expecting plenty of fashion moments nonetheless. After all, even during a pandemic, celebrities love to make a statement. We’re looking at you, Billy Porter.
As for the other notables: Regina King, the director of One Night In Miami, chose a one-shoulder St. John maxi dress that would be perfect for a post-pandemic vacation; The Great’s Elle Fanning tuned in from London in a custom Gucci gown that put her hot pink corset dress from the show's finale to shame; and Emma Corrin put together an extravagant bow look that was every bit as stunning as the actress's Princess Diana-inspired costumes fromThe Crown. And those are just the highlights.
Find out what all your favorite stars wore for the first big award show of 2021, red carpet or no red carpet, ahead.

The tailored cut, the pinstripes, the camel beige tone, the interesting side button details – these are some of the aspects that make this coat the most complimented.
Online and in person, whenever I post about this beige pinstripe coat(currently 40% + extra 25% off with code ‘Extra25‘), I get so many compliments and questions about it. I think it’s because it has a familiar yet renewed look. Beige coats are equally as versatile as black coats, they carry over to spring extremely well, and there is a sense of refinement and polish to them. I love beige coats. Deeply and unequivocally. What makes this coat so different and special is the pinstripes (a graceful nod to menswear), the weight (this coat keeps you warm), and side button closures (this creates movement). The best part is it can be dressed up or styled casually, leaving room for endless styling options.
Today, we’re dressing up this coat (and I’ll restyle it again for a casual look soon) with lace in beige color stories to create a tonal look. Rounding out the look, I paired it with a deeper camel color with the bag.
I hope you enjoy this styling. The lace gives it a romantic feel while the coat anchors the look with structure creating a balanced pairing of feminine-meets-masculine. Just a fair warning, you’re going to see a lot more of this coat!
As always, thank you so much for reading!
