Man Actually Hospitalized With Permanent Erection

For singer-songwriter and author of erotica Danny Harrop-Griffiths, one of his most recent one night stands may unfortunately end up resulting in a hard-on that never goes away.

According to PinkNews, prior to a night of passion-fueled sex with a nurse he'd met while partying at a club, Harrop-Griffiths popped a Viagra — and allowed the nurse to inject a second erection enhancer directly into his penis.

“I met a nurse, who I went home with, who ended up injecting an erection enhancer into my c*ck,” Harrop-Griffiths said. “I thought, why not, what could possibly go wrong?”

The answer to the musicians and columnist's question is now becoming self-evident: Harrop-Griffiths has been suffering in the hospital for the last 10 days, afflicted with a never-ending (and painful) erection. While Viagra and other prescription erectile dysfunction drugs tend to last for a matter of hours, he knew something was wrong when he awoke the morning after his tryst to find himself still at full mast.

Dodging the doctor at that point in time in favor of hitting the Berlin Pride Parade — his roommate's wine cooler wrapped around his unit, stuffed into his shorts — Danny was eventually forced to seek professional help the day following, when he found himself “screaming in pain.”

The procedures which followed sound something like every man's worst nightmare. Diagnosed with priapism, or an extended and excruciatingly painful erection which refuses to quit, doctors drove needles through the shaft of his manhood, an eye-watering five times to relieve the swelling, removing blood.

But wait, there's more.

If that wasn't enough to make you cringe in sympathy pain, Harrop-Griffiths was then subjected to a process involving a plastic nail down his urethra sans anesthetic. “Ten out of ten on the pain scale,” he said.

Hooked up to an IV dispensing blood thinner and still wrestling, psychologically, with the fear that he may have done permanent damage to himself, Danny Harrop-Griffiths is a man filled with regret. A gay man in an open relationship, he also admits to some serious anxiety surrounding his romantic life.

“I don’t know how much it’s going to cost to get my penis working how it used to be working ... Sex is very important to me. I’m a sex writer, I write erotica and edit erotica,” he said. “I need all the help I can get ... I don’t know what’s going to happen in the future ... will I have sex again?”

His friends and family are certainly pulling for him, however, as are a number of strangers on social media. A GoFundMe has been set up to help defray the costs of his continuous treatment, with the current tally resting at about $340 as of this writing (obviously the guy isn’t in America). He and his crew are seeking about $6,000 from crowdfunders, and the fundraiser is still young.

Any last words of advice from Harrop-Griffiths to his growing audience?

“My advice to anyone with a penis is be careful when you take Viagra and don’t let anyone come near your c*ck with an injection because it’s not worth it.”
